Watching Kelly Severide (Taylor Kinney) and Stella Kidd (Miranda Rae Mayo) finally tie the knot was one of the highlights of Chicago Fire Season 10. And of course, we're now wondering about their future in Season 11, which kicks off Wednesday, September 21 at 9/8c on NBC.
Will the drug kingpin seek revenge against Severide after the food truck fire? Will Violet and Gallo get together? Are kids in Stella and Severide's future? Kinney recently chatted with Us Weekly about the show, and before spilling any details, he was sure to express his gratitude for Chicago Fire in general.
"It’s never lost on me how special it is to be a part of something with the longevity this has," Kinney told the outlet. "It’s a testament to [show creator] Dick Wolf and the team of people he puts together. We just wrapped Season 10; that says something."
While there's no doubt Season 11 will be just as action-packed as prior seasons, fans are dying to know whether newlyweds Severide and Stella have plans to start a family. Nothing sounds cuter than a couple of adorable toddlers waddling around Firehouse 51!
But unfortunately, it's still too early to know exactly where next season is headed.
"I’m excited for Season 11," Kinney said. "I’m not privy to scripts or information on where they’re going with it."
And when the Us Weekly journalist asked Kinney, "Are you guys [Stella and Severide] 'gonna have kids?" he said, "I have no clue [about kids], but I’m excited."
