Brett's New Man Has Definitely Appeared on Chicago Fire Before

Do you remember him?

Mikami Gets Emotional About Losing Hawkins | NBC’s Chicago Fire

Chicago Fire Season 11, Episode 8 saw Brett (Kara Killmer) attempt to get back into the dating game with Dylan (Christopher Allen), a sweet guy she meets at the hospital. In a surprising turn of events, it's revealed Dylan was actually the guy Violet (Hanako Greensmith) and Hawkins (Jimmy Nicholas) wanted to set Brett up with—and it's obvious why. Dylan is so nice, so cute, and volunteers at the hospital on top of running his own bar. Seems like a catch to us!

How to Watch

Watch Chicago Fire Wednesdays at 9/8c on NBC and next day on Peacock.

And if he seems familiar, that's because he is. Allen played a character named Jeff in Chicago Fire Season 2, Episode 3. His appearance was brief: Jeff and his friend, Chris, got involved in a nail gun accident that Shay (Lauren German) and Gabby (Monica Raymund) had to help troubleshoot.

That said, if all goes well on Date No.1 with Brett, maybe Allen's Dylan will hang around for more than an episode. We'll have to wait and see to find out.

In any case, Killmer told NBC Insider about Brett's priorities post-Casey, "It’ll be interesting to see her really dedicate herself to her career. And I think we’ve always seen Sylvie in a relationship. We’ve always seen her in a romance. She’s a hopeless romantic, but I think it's important to see her come into her own and focus on her own things. Friendships and her career, not just her love life. I’m really excited about being able to explore all of that."
