Why One Chicago Fans Have to Wait for New Episodes This Month

If you're a One Chicago fan, you're probably here because you've discovered that neither Chicago Med, Chicago Fire, nor Chicago P.D. have new episodes this week—and there's a reason for that. 

All three One Chicago shows are currently on a two-week hiatus before they finish out their respective seasons. This means no new episodes will air on April 27, 2022 or May 4, 2022. The good news for us is they are each returning sooner than you think, which we detail below. In the meantime, you can catch up on One Chicago shows on NBC.com or Peacock. 

When does Chicago Med return?

The next episode of Season 7 of Chicago Med returns at 8 p.m. ET on May 11, 2022. Titled "End of the Day, Anything Can Happen," the synopsis for the episode reads: "Scott helps the daughter of a mob boss; a grandmother comes to Med desperate to save her grandson; Choi struggles with some shocking news about his father; Halstead and Taylor care for Maggie's high school classmate."

The season finale airs May 25 at 8 p.m. ET on NBC.

When does Chicago Fire return?

Season 10's 20th episode, "Halfway to the Moon" airs on May 11, 2022 at 9 p.m. ET. "A family friend asks Herrmann for some advice on opening a bar," the synopsis says. "Tensions run high between Emma and Violet; Kidd struggles to keep her team together."

The season finale airs May 25 at 9 p.m. ET on NBC.

When does Chicago P.D. return?

Lastly, Season 9 of Chicago P.D. returns on May 11, 2022 at 10 p.m. ET. The synopsis of Episode 20 reads, "Voight and the team delve into a cold case in search of clues to solve a shocking new crime; with its focus on buried memories, the case sparks concern for Burgess and Ruzek about Makayla's mental healing."
