Kelly Clarkson Rocked Another Gorgeous, Stevie Nicks-Inspired Look for the Playoffs
It's all about muted colors, chokers, and sautoirs for The Voice Coach Kelly Clarkson as her team competes to move on to the Top 8 Live performances.
The Playoff Rounds of The Voice continue this week, and now Coach Kelly Clarkson is in the hot seat, narrowing down Team Kelly from five to two players who go on to the Live Shows. It also means Clarkson is kicking her fashion up a notch, starting with rehearsals with her team.
Clarkson’s vibe has been more muted colors all season, and for this week’s rehearsals she wore a brown flowing dress, paired with a lighter brown jacket, decorated with flower details floating on top. She used a chunky brown belt to pull the look together.
She also kept her same jewelry style, wearing a choker and sautoir (long necklace), as well as black and leopard print scarves. She styled her hair down, loose, and casual to talk to her team.
Five members remain on Team Kelly entering the Playoff Rounds: ALI, Cait Martin, Holly Brand, Neil Salsich, and D. Smooth, who received Clarkson’s Playoff Pass. The “Breakaway” singer has won The Voice four times during her tenure as a Coach, and she believes one of these five can take it all home, expressing confidence during Playoff rehearsals.
Clarkson stayed true to her style during the Playoff performances as well, keeping the choker and sautoir combination with hoop earrings as she rooted for her team.
Clarkson has channeled Stevie Nicks for many of her outfits all season, and she kept on theme during the Playoffs, wearing a long black dress with a pop of color at the shoulders and the front with red stripes. The dress also featured oversized gold studs — which Clarkson has been sporting on vests and other dresses frequently this season.
One item notably didn’t make an appearance this week: Clarkson’s belted leather biker jacket by Alexander McQueen. She’s worn it several times this season, including while cheering on the members of Team Chance and Team Blake in the Playoff Rounds.
