NBC has many reasons to celebrate after the 2022 Emmy nominations. The network earned 29 nods total, including three acting nominations for Saturday Night Live. (Congratulations Bowen YangKate McKinnon, and Jerrod Carmichael!) It also racked up several nominations in the technical category. America's Got Talent earned a nomination for Outstanding Lighting Design/Lighting Direction for a Variety Series, as did American Song Contest, which was hosted by Snoop Dogg and Kelly Clarkson.

ASC, for the unfamiliar, saw 56 Artists representing either a U.S. state, territory, or Washington, D.C. compete for the title of Best Original Song. AleXa, the Contestant from Oklahoma, ultimately won the competition with her song "Wonderland."

"I thank my lucky stars for every single fan I have—not only just as an Oklahoman, because we've got the Oklahoman pride. We wanted to get our fellow Okies on the AleXa train. But also as a K-pop Artist and as someone who has K-pop fans, it's so wonderful to see the sense of community these fans have online," AleXa told NBC Insider shortly after her win. "They tell their friends who maybe aren’t my fans but love K-pop. I think that sense of fellowship is just so wonderful."

Joining ASC at the Emmy nominees table is Making It, the crafting competition show hosted by Amy Poehler and Nick Offerman. It earned a nod for Outstanding Host for a Reality or Competition Program. Also: Annie Live!, which aired on NBC in December, was nominated for Outstanding Choreography for Variety or Reality Programming and Outstanding Lighting Design/Lighting Direction for a Variety Special.

Congrats, everyone! Watch the 2022 Emmy Awards Monday, September 12 at 8 p.m. ET on NBC. It will also be available to stream live on Peacock.
