The 2022 Emmys are just around the corner, and TV lovers around the country are perched to see which of their favorite shows will take home the gold. Below, we have all the information you need to know ahead of the big event in September—including the 2022 Emmy nominations, how to watch the 2022 Emmys, and more. Read on.

How to watch the 2022 Emmys

Watch the 2022 Emmy Awards Monday, September 12 at 8/7c on NBC. It will also be available to stream live on Peacock.

Who is the 2022 Emmys Host?

Kenan Thompson will be the Host, the Television Academy announced in August. Jen Neal, the executive vice president of live events for NBCUniversal Television and Streaming, said in a statement, “Kenan is well-regarded as one of funniest, likable, and accomplished performers of the last two decades, and his tenure on Saturday Night Live speaks for itself. We know he’ll bring an excitement and professionalism to the Emmy Awards that a show of this stature deserves.”

“Being a part of this incredible evening where we honor the best of the television community is ridiculously exciting, and to do it on NBC—my longtime network family—makes it even more special,” Thompson said in a statement. “Like all TV fans, I can’t wait to see the stars from my favorite shows.”
