Kelly Clarkson has the perfect original song for the holiday season: "Christmas Isn't Canceled (Just You)."

How to Watch

Check your local listings for The Kelly Clarkson Show.

The track, off her 2021 album When Christmas Comes Around..., was written by Clarkson alongside her collaborators Jessi Collins and Jason Halbert. You can probably guess what the song's about based on the title. Essentially, a heartbroken person decides they won't let their ex tarnish their beloved holiday traditions.

"You ruined all my favorite things, but you won't take Christmas from me," Clarkson sings defiantly, before adding in the chorus, "This year Christmas won't be quite so blue. And I'm gonna shout too much and dance in the snow. Drink just enough to let us go. Christmas isn't canceled, just you." Miss Independent indeed!

Clarkson has performed the song a few times, notably on NBC's 2021 special Kelly Clarkson Presents: When Christmas Comes Aroundwhich aired around the same time as her album.
