Everything to Know About Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift

Is Taylor Swift coming to Travis Kelce's next Chiefs game, or will there be a blank space in the VIP box?

By Trent Moore

Travis Kelce has always been a star on the gridiron, but his burgeoning relationship with pop superstar Taylor Swift has catapulted him into a whole new stratosphere.

Kelce’s budding relationship with music superstar Taylor Swift has been the talk of the pop culture world in recent weeks, and hit a boiling point when Swift popped up in the stands at the past two Chiefs games, where the camera spent plenty of time spotlighting Swift as she cheered on Kelce from the VIP boxes.

A quick primer on their high profile situationship: The buzz about Kelce and Swift started back in July, when Kelce attended a live performance of Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour and lamented on a podcast that he wasn’t able to actually meet the music superstar and give her a friendship bracelet (the bracelets are a Swiftie thing).

In late September, Kelce joked that he knew Swift rocked Arrowhead Stadium on her concert tour, and he’d like her to see him rock the place on the football field. Lo and behold, she did show up. Then showed up again when the Chiefs beat the Jets on Sunday Night Football.

Taylor Swift brings A-list crew to Chiefs vs. Jets

Taylor Swift came out to Kelce's game against the Jets, where the Chiefs held on for a closer-than-expected win against the reeling Jets. Swift was there alongside Kelce's mother Donna (who'd already watched her son Jason win with the Philadelphia Eagles earlier in the day) during the game. But Swift wasn't alone, and we don't just mean she had security. The Eras Tour icon attended the game with a big group of fellow stars that included celeb friends Sophie Turner, Blake Lively, Robyn Lively, Ryan Reynolds, and Hugh Jackman. It was such a big deal that NBC even recruited The Voice host Carson Daly to explain the game to Swifies prior to kickoff, using Swift song titles to describe the matchup between the rolling Chief and the struggling Jets.

Where does Taylor Swift live?

As for showing up around the country for Chiefs games, it wouldn’t be too far out of the way for Swift depending on the schedule. Taylor Swift owns at least nine homes, including four estates in New York. Swift has one home in the West Village and a few places in Tribeca. Along with the NYC real estate, Swift also owns homes in Beverly Hills, Rhode Island and Nashville.

How to watch Sunday Night Football?

The game will also stream live on Peacock for subscribers from anywhere. The pregame show for each game will begin at 7 p.m. ET, followed by kickoff at 8:20 p.m. ET. So get your snacks ready, make sure the couch is comfy, and mark your calendars for Sunday Night Football.

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's SNL connection

Along with being young, good-looking and famous, Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift also have another thing in common: They've both hosted NBC's Saturday Night Live.

After winning Super Bowl LVII in 2023, Kelce hosted the March 4 episode of SNL's 48th season. He was pretty great. As for Swift, she's popped up on SNL more than a few times, as both a musical guest and a host over the past several years.
