Terry Fator Nailed This Extremely Difficult Celine Dion-Andrea Bocelli Opera Song

The America's Got Talent Season 2 winner hit some seriously high notes on this cover.

By Jackie Manno

America's Got Talent Season 2 winner Terry Fator sang an amazing cover of an extremely difficult song: "The Prayer" by Andrea Bocelli and Celine Dion. And he did two polar-opposite voices while doing so.

How to Watch

Watch America’s Got Talent Tuesdays at 8/7c on NBC and next day on Peacock

During his rendition of "The Prayer," Fator used his puppets, Winston the Turtle and Emma Taylor, to portray Bocelli and Dion. While he sang Bocelli's part, Fator used a rich operatic tone with perfect vibrato. He also managed to pull off the female vocal part perfectly, singing in a super convincing high register.

What to know about "The Prayer" by Andrea Bocelli and Celine Dion

The duet appeared on Dion's 1998 album, These Are Special Times, and Bocelli's 1999 album, Songo. It was also nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Pop Collaboration with Vocals in 2000.

Dion and Josh Groban sang "The Prayer" together at the 1999 Grammy Awards. The two later performed another rendition of the song in 2008 for Dion's television special, That's Just the Woman in Me. The latter version reached the number-70 position on the Billboard Hot 100.
