Renowned for its captivating talent, the show has earned adoration from audiences across the globe. And this season, new changes are sure to ignite excitement among fans. So, here's everything you need to know about what's different with the Golden Buzzers in AGT Season 19.

As any seasoned AGT fan knows, when an Act auditions on the show, they typically need a majority vote to progress to the next round. However, a Judge can hit the Golden Buzzer in extraordinary cases, moving the Act directly to the Live Shows.

In previous seasons, both the Judges and the Host were limited to using the Golden Buzzer only once each on a single Act of their choosing. However, Season 19 hopes to kick things up a notch by letting each Judges use the Golden Buzzer twice. In other words, the Judges gets to send two Acts of their choosing directly to the Live Shows.

"In the first two days we’ve used more Golden Buzzers than we’ve ever used. That’s got to be a good sign!” Simon Cowell told People.

With many exceptional talents coming this season, this adjustment alleviates some of the pressure that Judges may have felt previously, ensuring they don't hesitate to use their Golden Buzzer for fear that another Act might blow their minds later. Meanwhile, as the Host of the show, Terry Crews will still only get a single Golden Buzzer to use, bringing a grand total of nine Golden Buzzers to Season 19.

Some of our favorite Judges and Host are set to return for another exciting season! Comedian Howie Mandel will reprise his role as a Judge, marking his 12th season on the show. Joining him is the multi-talented Heidi Klum, who serves as a Judge and holds other titles such as supermodel, author, producer, and actress. Additionally, Emmy, Golden Globe, and SAG-nominated actress Sofia Vergara will return as a Judge in Season 19 after letting Mel B take the chair for America's Got Talent: Fantasy League. And, of course (also serving as executive producer) Cowell will join the panel of Judges again.

Let's not forget about the Host! Crews returns once again to walk the audience and viewers through all the Acts performing on stage.
