Remember when Kelly Clarkson received this heartwarming Valentine’s Day gift in 2020?

How to Watch

Watch The Voice Mondays and Tuesdays at 8/7c on NBC and next day on Peacock.

Here's what happened: In this behind-the-scenes clip from The Kelly Clarkson Show, we caught a glimpse of the “Behind These Hazel Eyes” singer getting her makeup done. Then, two people decided to move a giant blackboard and reveal something very special.

“It’s a surprise from The Voice!” a producer said off-screen after a giant bouquet of flowers had been revealed.

“What? They did not do that; who did that?” a stunned Clarkson said in disbelief.

“They sent that to you,” the producer replied.

“I need to know which one. This is totally Nick [Jonas] or somebody. That’s so nice!” Clarkson exclaimed.

She then picked up the card to read, revealing it was from all the Coaches! “’Coach Kelly, happy Valentine’s Day from your Voice boys, Blake [Shelton], John [Legend], Nick [Jonas], and Carson [Daly].’ That’s nice!” she said emotionally. “I’m so tired, I might cry.”

“I don’t know which one of y’all is the ring leader, but that was really kind,” she said.

“That’s so Texan, look how big!” she joked.

Fortunately, Kelly Clarkson will be returning as a Coach on The Voice for Season 23. It will also be her playful rival Blake Shelton’s last season, and she had some emotional words to tell NBC Insider about his departure.

"I actually have been talking to Blake a bit about this being his last season. And I'm like, 'It's not gonna hit you until afterwards. It's gonna hit you. It's been a part of your life for so long. And it's gonna hit you after,'" Clarkson told NBC Insider. "I think he knows that, but I also think he knows that it's time. He's been doing it a long time, and I think it's a really cool way that we all know he's leaving so we get the time to, like—I mean, I can't stand him, but I also love him. So we get the time to actually, like, lift him up and say how great he is. He is the ultimate Coach on this show. Everybody knows that. He's won the most, and he, honest to God, helps the Artists afterwards. And it's an incredible thing that he's done for so many Artists. It's a loss for The Voice."
