We all know that Blake Shelton can put on a great show anywhere, and recently, he chose a small, unexpected venue: the Nashville International Airport.

How to Watch

Watch The Voice Mondays and Tuesdays at 8/7c on NBC and next day on Peacock.

On May 1, the "No Body" singer showed up at the Ole Red restaurant in the Nashville, Tennessee airport for a surprise performance. Fittingly, he sang his original song "Ole Red" from his self-titled 2001 album.

"Believe it or not, it's the first time I've been into the Ole Red in the airport, and thank you guys for supporting us and coming in," Shelton said to the crowd, according to Taste of Country

For those who don't know, Ole Red is not only a Shelton song but a chain of live music venue restaurants owned by Shelton and located in Tennessee, Nevada, Florida, and his home state of Oklahoma.

On the Ole Red website, Shelton explains what makes the locations different. Not only can customers walk in to hear live music playing around the clock to discover new Artists, the audio quality is unmatched because the venues were designed to put music first.

Blake Shelton recently wrapped up his Back to the Honky Tonk Tour. In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, he sweetly opened up about how he was coping with being away from his wife, Gwen Stefani, while on the road.

"It's terrible," Shelton told the outlet. "Right now, they’re having bad storms back in California, and I hate not being there. Not that anything bad is happening... but I know they’re kind of freaked out, and it'd be nice to be home."

"I don’t do a lot of these [tours]. I think we're doing 18 of these shows this year," he added. "I try to limit it as much as I can, because the whole reason I’m even stepping away from The Voice is so I can just be there more, and that’s what I’m gonna do."

Now that the tour is over, Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani are enjoying their lives together. Recently, Stefani posted a video of herself and Shelton rocking out to an Ozzy Osbourne song on a tour bus. With The Voice Season 23 wrapping this month, it seems like more good times like this one are in the cards.
