Is there anything Law & Order: Special Victims Unit's Mariska Hargitay can't do? Among the Emmy-winning actress's many achievements, Hargitay also stars in musician Grace Gaustad's new music video, "Disappear."

Hargitay took to Instagram to share the exciting development, posting a snippet from Gaustad's video, released on April 28. Based on the clip, Hargitay appears as an angelic entity that guides Gaustad away from a regretful decision. Hargitay tells them, "The only way out is through, Grace." The emotional new single zeroes in on the importance of suicide prevention, with the SVU star serving as the light at the end of the tunnel.

"'Despite what you may think, the world is not a better place without you in it.' I say those deeply important words to Grace Gaustad in the video for their achingly beautiful new single, 'Disappear.' You’ll hear me say them to Grace, and I say them to anyone and everyone who needs strength, comfort or nourishment," Hargitay captioned the IG post. "If you are in a time of despair, a hard chapter, a dark hour, listen to me: 'The world is not a better place without you in it.' Thank you, Grace, for sharing your journey, especially the very hard parts. Thank you for sharing your heart, your song, your gift—and your grace. #Pillbx #disappear."

Gaustad also wrote a special message to Hargitay on their own Instagram account. "Thank you to my wonderful friend @therealmariskahargitay for supporting 'Disappear' in attempt to raise awareness around suicide prevention and erase the stigma around mental health once and for all. I adore you!" they said.

Hargitay is no stranger to the music video game. While in college, she starred in Ronnie Milsap's “She Loves My Car.” Spoiler alert: Hargitay is the one that loved his car, looking like an absolute bombshell while lounging in Milsap's red convertible. She was also a member of Taylor Swift's "Bad Blood" girl gang, appearing in the iconic video as Lady Justice. We see what you did there, Swift.

Hargitay is also quite the singer, herself. Recently on set for SVU, the actress impressed Broadway legend and Law & Order guest star Betty Buckley with a rousing rendition of "Blue Bayou" by Linda Ronstadt. It took Hargitay around four months to work up the nerve, but she sounded so amazing singing the rock classic, which naturally left Buckley in awe. Buckley also gushed over working with Hargitay on a recent episode of SVU, "Bend the Law."

"When she [Hargitay] hits the set, she’s a force of nature... She’s just always fully present and so happy to be there," Buckley tells NBC Insider. "She’s such a profoundly compassionate and empathetic human being. And any scene with her, you can just feel the palpable nature of the love, that is who she is... I just feel really embraced by her, by her warmth and her empathy. She’s a lovely, lovely person."

See more of Hargitay's endless compassion and warmth in Gaustad's new music video "Disappear."
