Every Blind Audition on The Voice Season 24, Broken Down by Team

Take a look at every Artist on Team Reba, Team Legend, Team Niall, and Team Gwen as the weeks go on.

By Christopher Rosa

As the 24th season of The Voice gets underway, Coaches Reba McEntire, John Legend, Gwen Stefani, and Niall Horan will bolster their musical teams off several weeks of the traditional Blind Auditions. When a Coach hears a talent they like, they'll turn their chair around and attempt to woo that singer onto their team. If more than one Coach turns around...well, you know how the game is played by now.

How to Watch

Watch The Voice Mondays and Tuesdays at 8/7c on NBC and next day on Peacock.

For the sake of your convenience, we'll be compiling the Blind Auditions right here, breaking them down by the four musical squads that will eventually go head-to-head. Be sure to check back in for weekly updates after new episodes air on Mondays and Tuesdays at 8/7c on NBC and next day on Peacock.

Team Legend

Deejay Young, singing "This Woman's Work" by Kate Bush

"You have this beautiful ability to combine the masculine and the feminine in a song,”  Legend told Young. “And falsetto is so hard to sing live. The fact that you sang that so beautifully — you have it, and we just need to be here to help you shine your light.”

Mara Justine, singing Elton John’s “Goodbye Yellow Brick Road”

“The thing that made me turn around so quickly was your tone in that lower part of the song. Then you had the finesse to do those really light touches. I would love to have you on Team Legend,” Legend said after Justine's Blind Audition.

Ephraim Owens, singing "Beneath Your Beautiful" by Labrinth

“Oh my gosh, who are you?” Stefani gushed following Owens' Audition. But he ultimately went Team Legend!

Stee, singing "Sugar" by Maroon 5

"Singing a song sung by Adam Levine is a challenge because he is one of our more gifted pop singers in the world," Legend told Stee following his performance. "He actually sat in this chair and the fact that you convinced all of us that you could pull off Adam Levine's song is pretty amazing."

Claudia B., singing "Human Nature" by Michael Jackson

"I feel like I really understand where you're coming from as an Artist," Legend told Claudia B. after her Audition. "We could do a lot of great things together."

Talakai, singing Sam Smith's "Stay With Me"

"I'm looking at myself! Like a taller, more handsome version of myself onstage," Legend said about Talakai.

Kaylee Shimizu, singing "Golden Slumbers" by The Beatles

What Legend told her: "You know you could win The Voice, right? And doing it on Team Legend would be just a dream come true for me. You just had so much confidence delivering these impossible notes, and I wanna work with you!”

Lila Forde, singing Blind Faith's "Can't Find My Way Home"

"That song could not be more perfect for you if you tried, and you look so comfortable up there on that piano," Horan told Forde after her Audition. That said, she ended up going Team Legend (to the dismay of all three Coaches).

JaRae Womack, singing Amy Winehouse's "Back to Black"

“I couldn’t tell if you were a soul singer, necessarily, but I could tell you were a soulful singer, which means something about it is authentic and true and passionate,” Legend told Womack.

Elizabeth Evans, singing Paramore's "All I Wanted"

"You have everything you need," Legend told Evans after her Blind Audition, in which he geeked out over her "cool voice." "I would love to be your Coach!"

Willie Gomez, singing Manuel Turizo's "La Bachata"

"I can hear this guy making a record that would be huge," Legend said.

Caleb Sasser, singing Toni Braxton's "Another Sad Love Song"

"Caleb is a perfect addition to Team Legend," the Coach summarized. "What a beautiful, rich, tenor voice. He makes really musical and tasteful choices with the way he does runs and the way he styles a song. That's the kind of Artist I love to work with."

AZÁN, singing Jill Scott's "Golden"

"Your version [of the song] was just full of positive energy," Legend told her. "You did some fun things with the melodies."

Taylor Deneen, singing Childish Gambino’s "Redbone"

“I am stunned right now. That was incredible,” Legend said. “You just kept getting better and better and better. You kept finding new places to go.”

Team Gwen

Joslynn Rose, singing "Arcade" by Duncan Laurence

“She is very dynamic and stylistic. I love to work with young Artists, Joslynn is that girl,” Stefani said about Rose. “And now all my dreams are coming true!

Kristen Brown, singing Blown Away" by Carrie Underwood

"I thought you had a really interesting tone," Stefani told Brown. "You're like a diamond in the rough."

Juliette Ojeda, singing "Hopelessly Devoted to You"

“She has that fire,” Stefani said of Ojeda. “I fought so hard.”

Jenna Marquis, singing "Teenage Dirtbag" by Wheatus

Stefani said it was her dream to work with “a young girl who already has such an identity," which is Marquis to a tee.

Chechi Sarai, singing "Lovin' You" by Minnie Riperton

"What I loved about you was the love and confidence that you had onstage," Stefani said. "You were in complete control of that room, and of my heart, in that moment."

Rudi, singing "You Don't Own Me"

"It's really amazing to hear someone that is so on control," Stefani said. "And then on top of that I was so blessed that I turned around quickly because of my great instinct, because I got to see you too, and you really know how to work the stage, and you've got amazing style, and you're gorgeous. I think I need to be your Coach. Don't you think that me and you could like, rule the world?"

Jason Arcilla, singing Fleetwood Mac’s “Dreams"

What Stefani said: “This is a hard song to do. We all love the original. Stevie’s voice is so recognizable, but the more that I listened, the more I was like oh my god this guy is unique-sounding.”

BIAS, singing "God's Country" by Blake Shelton

What Stefani said: "I loved your energy, I loved your spirit, and at the end of the song, you had some really cool kind of texture and growl."

Jacquie Roar, singing "Here for the Party" by Gretchen Wilson

Jacquie Roar's 6-year-old daughter, Leilai, ultimately picked her Coach in a very sweet moment

Brandon Montel, singing H.E.R.'s "Hard Place"

"I thought your performance was gorgeous," Stefani said. "Beautiful and very original-sounding."

Kara Tenae, singing “Boo’d Up” by Ella Mai

“You have so much style; you’ve got swag; you’ve got personality; you’ve got stage presence — you have it all," Stefani told Tenae.

Eli Ward, singing “Bruises” by Lewis Capaldi

“Honestly, you started off so good; that tells me that you have so much potential,” Stefani told him. “But as soon as I turned, I could hear the whole performance went to another place. I was like, ‘What happened to him?’ You were so solid, but that’s OK because you already got two turns and you’re here to be coached and it’s an amazing place to do that. I think that you’re really, really talented. I love raw talent, and I would love to have you on Team Gwen.”

Claire Heilig, singing Megan Moroney's "Tennessee Orange"

"I really liked how kind of dirty and gritty your voice is," Stefani told Heilig.

Calla Prejean, singing Carly Simon's "You're So Vain"

"I love your tone," Stefani told Prejean. "It's just rich and warm and round."

Team Niall

Sophia Hoffman, singing "Tell Me You Love Me" by Demi Lovato

Horan told Hoffman her voice had “so much more grit and maturity” than her Season 23 Audition, where she received no chair turns. This time around, both Horan and McEntire turned around.

Alexa Wildish, singing "Songbird" by Fleetwood Mac

Horan told Wildish he got "goosebumps" from her performance.

Olivia Minogue, singing "Lay Me Down" by Sam Smith

Horan told Minogue that Smith is his good friend and that she did the song justice.

Julia Roome, singing "Dream a Little Dream of Me"

“I couldn’t tie my shoelaces at 13,” Horan said in response to Roome’s performance. “The fact that you’re 13 and you sing like that makes me want to vomit… in a good way.”

Reid Zingale, singing "July" by Noah Cyrus

Horan called Zingale "magical" following his Blind Audition.

Noah Spencer, singing Zach Bryan’s “Something in the Orange”

Like the Zach Bryan song he performed, Noah Spencer comes from country roots, specifically a tiny town in Virginia. “It’s a really close-knit community; you can’t go to the grocery store without running into three or four people that you know,” he said.

Laura Williams, singing "Fingers Crossed" by Lauren Spencer Smith

Horan's feedback: “Laura, that was so good. I love your whole vibe; I love your outfit. This is a very, very, very hard song to sing because it’s so snappy. You need quick breaths. Most people would get halfway through that chorus and pass out."

LVNDR, singing Drake's "Hotline Bling"

Horan's feedback: “That was something special. I was thinking, 'Do I let her finish the first sentence before I press the button or what?' because I just love character, and you’ve got it in abundance."

Tanner Massey, singing “Before You Go” by Louis Capaldi

“Dude, that was really good,” Horan said. “I can sense a lot of nerves. I’m fine with working with nerves. The girl I won with last year [Gina Miles] was a nervous wreck in her first Audition and went on to win the thing.”

Nini Iris, singing "Everybody Loves an Outlaw's" "I See Red"

"That was the best vocal of the day, without a shadow of a doubt," Horan told Iris.

Olivia Eden, singing Niall Horan's “This Town"

“Great song choice,” Horan said cheekily, adding. “I know that one well."

He continued, "There is so much maturity to that voice. I really want to hear you sing country music. You showed off so many different parts of your voice, like, more than I do, and I wrote the thing. You have a really captivating voice, really refreshing to hear. I’d love you to be on my team and thanks for picking my song.”

Huntley, singing "She Talks to Angels" by The Black Crowes

Horan added, "You sing your own way. You sing very direct, and [with] so much power. The control that you have, it's so beautiful to listen to. You made us feel, and that's a really important thing."

Brailey Lenderman, singing "If It Makes You Happy" by Sheryl Crow

“The issue with picking a song that big is you thought about the word ‘makes’ so much that sometimes the rest of the sentence was forgotten about a little bit because you’re just like I need to hit that first note in the chorus,” noted Horan, though he was not concerned about Lenderman’s long-term prospects. “That’s just Audition nerves. You will not have that issue further down the line.”

Lennon VanderDoes, singing “The Night We Met” by Lord Huron

“What a voice. So unique, authentic, needed in the competition and in our industry,” Horan said. “Lennon is the perfect way to complete Team Niall.”

Team Reba

Jordan Rainer, singing "Fancy" by Reba McEntire

Rainer chose "Fancy" to sing because "it was written by a strong woman [Bobbie Gentry]. It was made famous by a strong woman. And it represents, lyrically, what women do to survive. I am a woman who has done what I've had to do to survive. I feel that song in every bone in my body."

Jackson Snelling, singing "If Heaven Wasn't So Far Away" by Justin Moore

"I tell you, Jackson, I love country music so much," McEntire told Snelling. "I grew up on a working cattle ranch. I'm a third generation rodeo brat, so country music is my life, my foundation, so to hear you come on The Voice and sing like you did today, I am just so proud to be in country music and proud that you're representing us."

Ruby Leigh, singing "I Want to Be a Cowboy's Sweetheart" by Patsy Montana

"I'm very proud of my heritage that you're singing this song," McEntire told Leigh after her Audition.

Mac Royals, singing John Mayer's "Gravity"

“I hope the Coaches can hear my heart and not just my voice,” Mac Royals said before hitting the stage. “I hope they can feel the pain in the song that I’m about to deliver, and that’s what’s going to make them turn around.”

Tom Nitti, singing  Stevie Wonder's "Signed, Sealed, Delivered"

"Something in my gut said, 'Turn your chair around,' and I did," McEntire told Nitti. "And I'm just thrilled to pieces you're 'gonna be on my team!"

Alison Albrecht, singing Alanis Morissette's "Ironic"

"You have that sincerity in your voice that I absolutely love," McEntire told Albrecht.

Ms. Monét, singing Steve Winwood's "Higher Love"

"You seem very polished, and you sang your butt off!" McEntire told Ms. Monét after her Audition.

Rachele Nguyen, singing Leona Lewis' "Bleeding Love"

"I'm thrilled to pieces that I did turn [for you]," McEntire told Nguyen after her Audition.

Angelina Nazarian, singing Kelly Clarkson's "The Trouble With Love Is"

"I don't have anybody like you on my team," McEntire told Nazarian. "...If you came with me, we would explore new things for you to sing."

Al Boogie, singing “Pickup Man” by Joe Diffie

“I’m a big fan already!” McEntire told Al Boogie, noting her love for his "capital-C country” sound.

CORii, singing "Scared to Be Lonely" by Dua Lipa

"That was great!" McEntire told CORii after the singer wrapped. "I'm thrilled to have you!"

Crystal Nicole, singing Rihanna's "Only Girl (in the World)"

"I heard a very powerful, strong voice," McEntire told Nicole.

Caitlin Quisenberry, singing "Rainbow" by Kacey Musgraves

“When you started, I heard country, I heard a great quality voice — just what I like to listen to,” McEntire said. “I do have a lot of experience in the music industry. And I’ve had wonderful Coaches in my career, people who have guided me, and I think I can help you out with some of the things that people have been so sweet to teach [me].”

Dylan Carter, singing "I Look to You" by Whitney Houston

"So much emotion, and I saw it and I felt it when you were singing," McEntire said. "That's the kind of songs that do that to me too, because I saw you get so emotionally involved, and that's when you know you've got a great song and a great singer, when it touches your heart."

Watch The Voice Mondays and Tuesdays at 8/7c on NBC and next day on Peacock.
