One of the season's early favorites was, without a doubt, 24-year-old Lila Forde. A singer from Seattle with a soulful voice who's already on her way to recording her first album, she earned a coveted Four-Chair Turn right from the start, and quickly established herself as one of the singers to watch this season. Now she's joining fellow finalists Huntley, Jacquie Roar,  Mara Justine, and Ruby Leigh in the Finals, so let's take a look back at how Forde got here.

Where Did Lila Forde Place in The Voice Season 24?

Lila Forde did not win The Voice Season 24, placing fifth in the final results on the season.

Lila Forde's Journey on The Voice

Sitting at a keyboard and performing Blind Faith's "Can't Find My Way Home," Forde immediately became a fan-favorite when she launched her Blind Audition. The Four-Chair Turn meant she had her pick of Coaches, but she went with fellow soulful singer John Legend, who's consistently praised her as a fully-formed artist with a bright future.

Forde next appeared in the third round of Season 24 Battles, where she beat JaRae Womack in a duet of the Lori Lieberman classic "Killing Me Softly with His Song." Then came the Knockouts, and another knockout performance, as Forde's cover of James Taylor's "Fire and Rain" put her over the top with another victory, this time over fellow Team Legend vocalists Deejay Young and Stee.

In the final round of the Playoffs, Forde once again prevailed as one of the season's outstanding vocalists, this time performing John Prine's "Angel from Montgomery" and earning a trip to the Live Shows alongside fellow Team Legend singers Azan and Mac Royals.

In the Live Shows, Forde proved herself again with a victory via public vote for her cover of the Indigo Girls' "Closer to Fine," then won over the public once again in the Semifinals with Joni Mitchell's "River," making her one of the show's top four vocalists in the eyes of fan. To make things even more impressive, Forde joins Ruby Leigh and Huntley as one of three finalists to never be stolen or saved. That means she's undefeated going into the Finals, but of course, only one vocalist can be the champion.
