Hear Golden Buzzer Gabriel Henrique Hit an Unbelievable Whistle Note During Lives
"It was just like an angel," Judge Sofia Vergara told the singer after his Live Show performance.
Brazilian singer Gabriel Henrique has a vocal range like no other, and he proved this during Live Shows on Season 18 of America's Got Talent.
During his performance, he chose to sing the unique track "Something Beautiful" by Jacob Banks, which was later revealed to be one of Simon Cowell's favorite songs. And during the performance Henrique sounded, well, something way more than beautiful.
Towards the end of his cover, he also hit a glass-shattering whistle note that would make Mariah Carey jealous, and the crowd immediately erupted into cheers.

What the AGT Judges said about Gabriel Henrique's Live Show performance
After the Judges gave him a much-deserved standing ovation, they couldn't help but fawn over the performance.
"I don't even have anything to say. It was perfection. It was just like an angel. You are definitely a star. It was beautiful. I think people are gonna vote for you, because I still have goosebumps," said Sofia Vergara, who gave him a Golden Buzzer during his Audition.

"You could've sung something more obvious, the fact that you sang this song, I know the original, the Jacob Banks song, it is one of my favorite songs. You absolutely nailed it. It was way better in my opinion than your first Audition. So I think you just maybe booked yourself a spot in the final," Cowell said.
"I mean you have an unbelievable talent. Especially from the second part of the song, you really showed what sets you apart from the others singers. You busted out some tunes that are unhuman. It was incredible what we just heard," Heidi Klum commented.
"When you first started I was concerned, because I didn't know if it was the right choice. But it turns out, once you hit that note, that's what makes you stand out. That's why people are gonna remember you. That's why I believe you're gonna be one of the two votes that move on to the next level," Howie Mandel chimed in.

After the feedback, Henrique had a special message for viewers. "I like to sing what I feel in my heart. And if its not with love, then it doesn't mean anything."
Ultimately, Henrique got eliminated from the competition before the Finale, finishing in the top 3 during the final round of Live Shows. However, we're certain this won't be the last we'll hear from Henrique, as he currently has over a whopping 600k followers on his official Instagram page, and frequently posts more amazing covers to his YouTube account.
