Blake Shelton’s Last-Ever Steal During The Voice Season 23 Knockouts Was Emotional | THE VOICE

During a Coach performance on Season 14 of The Voice, Blake Shelton and Adam Levine joined forces for a sophisticated cover of "Fly Me to the Moon," and their contrasting vocal styles worked together perfectly.

How to Watch

Watch The Voice Mondays and Tuesdays at 8/7c on NBC and next day on Peacock.

The performance was accompanied with artsy, black-and-white lighting while some upbeat, swing horns played. Meanwhile, the venue they sang in was equipped with lavishly-dressed patrons elegantly sipping their drinks while listening to the music.

Levine started off the song, crooning sweetly while wearing a sleek black suit. When Levine sang the lyrics, "In other words, hold my hand," Shelton jokingly inquired, "Me?" to which Levine quickly said, "No!" Fellow Coach Kelly Clarkson was sitting in the audience watching this and got a kick out of it.

Shelton then took over with his signature country twang. When he sang, "In other words, I love you," Levine responded with an "Awwh, thank you, buddy."

Then, the song picked up in intensity as some strings joined in for the bridge. The two jammed out to the instrumental before Levine jumped back in, climbing up to some high notes and holding them out. Levine and Shelton then played off each other for the outro and sang the very last note together.

"Fly Me to the Moon" lyrics

Fly me to the moon
Let me play up there with those stars
Let me see what spring is like on Jupiter and Mars

In other words, hold my hand
In other words, baby, kiss me
Fill my heart with song
And let me sing forever more
You are all I long for
All I worship and adore

In other words (in other words)
Please be true
In other words
I'm in love with you

In other words, hold my hand
In other words, baby, kiss me
Fill my heart with song
Let me sing forever more

You are all I long for
All I worship and adore
In other words
Please be true

In other words
In other words
In other words (in other words)
I, I
I love (I love)
I love you
