Kodi Lee Did a Surprise Cover of Coldplay's 'Fix You'—And It's So Moving

America's Got Talent alum Kodi Lee is one of the franchise's greatest finds. The singer—who's also blind and has autism—broke out in Season 14 of the show. His initial Audition went completely viral, and he kept the momentum up all season, ultimately leading to a win.

Now, Kodi Lee is a bonafide superstar, performing in AGT's Las Vegas show at the Luxor and most recently killing it on AGT: All-Stars. For the unfamiliar, that new show saw 60 Acts from Got Talent history returning to compete for a brand new title. Lee excelled on the show, obviously, reaching the Top 11 and delivering several memorable performances along the way. His astounding cover of Calum Scott's "Biblical" gave everyone goosebumps, and he followed that up with an even more impressive rendition of  David Bowie's 1977 song "Heroes."

The AGT Judges have historically had nothing but incredible things to say about Kodi Lee. "That was just stunning, honestly stunning. I mean, boy. That lyric took on a whole new meaning for us just then. And you have something really, really special about you, Kodi," Simon Cowell told Lee during AGT: All-Stars after he performed "Heroes" by Bowie.  "You have this real gift, and every time you perform, there's just silence. Everyone's focused and listening to every word, and then when we wonder what you're gonna do with the song, and then you hit those big notes." 

Howie Mandel added the same episode, "The lyric is, 'We can be heroes just for one day.' And Kodi, you're a hero everyday. You really are." 

Heidi Klum echoed a similar sentiment: "You shine so bright on that stage, and when I think about America's Got Talent, when I think about All-Stars, you are the ultimate All-Star." He is indeed!
