Kelly Clarkson celebrated the release of her new album "Chemistry" in the best way: By surprising fans in The Big Apple!

During the weekend of June 24, Clarkson took to an NYC subway station for an impromptu a capella performance of her new original song "mine", and belted her heart out.

In a clip posted on a fan's TikTok page, we catch a glimpse of Clarkson singing the tune while onlookers cheered.

"A casual Thursday morning with Kelly Clarkson belting in the middle of a subway station," the TikTok user captioned the post.

That wonderful performance wasn't Clarkson's only stint in the big apple recently. She also took to NBC's legendary 30 Rock location (where Season 5 of The Kelly Clarkson Show will be filmed), to sing a rendition of her song "down to you" from her new album Chemistry. During the clip posted to her official Instagram page, we hear her voice soar while some amazing background singers harmonized with her. Viewers eagerly began to gather around Clarkson, smiling and encouraging the group.

"The flashmobs continued in NYC this week celebrating the release of #chemistry. Thank you @tonality for joining in on the fun!" Clarkson captioned the post before tagging the talented background singers.

Clarkson is no stranger to pulling off some amazing impromptu performances, as she also surprised people at a coffee shop in Los Angeles earlier this month. This time, she chose to sing the single "me", which is also a track on "Chemistry", this time hitting a glass-shattering whistle note.

When the jaw-dropping performance was over, Clarkson casually walked up to the counter and ordered a drink without missing a beat, causing the room to burst out in laughter.

"When you decide to #flashmob people at a random Blue Bottle in LA... 🎶 This song’s called #me and it’s part of my new album #chemistry (out june 23rd!!)@ourtonality @platform_la," Clarkson captioned the post.

Chemistry is Clarkson's 10th studio album, and it was released on June 23. When the Voice Coach was teasing the album a few months prior to its release, she explained to fans the emotional inspiration behind the project.

"It's called Chemistry because I was trying to find a word — also, it might be one of the songs on the album— but I was trying to find a word that really described the whole thing," Clarkson said. "Because I didn't want everyone to think I was just coming out with some, 'I'm angry, I'm sad' [album], just one or two emotions. This album is definitely the arc of an entire relationship. A whole relationship shouldn't be just brought down to one thing. So there's the good, the bad, and the ugly kinda thing going on. Chemistry can be a really amazing sexy, cool, fun thing, but it can also be very bad for you. So that's why I named it Chemistry. I thought it was the perfect title to describe the entire album."
