John Legend's Adorable Son Wren Earned This Big Honor at Just 5 Months Old
He's taking after his father in the magazine awards department.
The 5-month-old joins the ranks of other celeb offspring like — like Andy Cohen's son Benjamin — that've also earned the title. Congrats to Wren!
John Legend and Chrissy Teigen's youngest son, Wren Stephens
Legend and his wife, Chrissy Teigen, welcomed Wren in June via surrogate. Recently, Wren and his mom and dad had a twinning family moment in matching striped tops. So far he seems to be, in the words of Teigen, a happy, giggling, "chonky baby," as she described him in an adorable Instagram post, writing, "Our snacking blanket has pockets big enough for a full bag of chips or one chonky baby! it can also be used as a very cuddly blanket!! the innovation my god !!!"
And the people clearly agree with People. The clip attracted gushing comments like "I would seriously get nothing done with this cute little chunk of preciousness 🥺😩🥰🥰🥰🥰" and "This Lil Boo! My ♥ He is Absolutely Adorable...Want to Kiss those Cheeks! 😍 Speechless !!! Cuteness off the charts!!"
The meaning behind Wren's name
Wren's middle name, Alexander, comes from the surrogate who carried him, named Alexandra, whom Teigen thanked in a heartfelt Instagram post when announcing his birth. "We want to say thank you for this incredible gift you have given us, Alexandra. And we are so happy to tell the world he is here, with a name forever connected to you. Wren Alexander Stephens. Our hearts, and our home, are officially full."
The baby boy entered the family just a few months after Teigen gave birth to daughter Esti. Both babies join big sister Luna, 7, and brother Miles, 5.
Not to be out-cuted, Esti has been putting in the hours, making a mess with pasta in the sweet way only babies can. She and Wren are already the spitting images of their parents, though that comes as no surprise. Miles and Luna are basically John and Chrissy mini-mes.
All six members of the Legen-Teigen house recently donned Halloween costumes based on cute book characters, while the "All of Me" singer and the Cravings cookbook author also stepped out for a grown-up Halloween in fully-committed costumes based on HBO series The Idol.
