How to Watch

Throughout Season 22, fans have watched as the detectives and courtroom newbies adjust to an ever-changing political climate. Along the way, viewers met Detective Shaw (Mehcad Brooks), the new crime-solving partner to Frank Cosgrove (Jeffrey Donovan). In Episode 13 ("Mammon"), Jack McCoy (Sam Waterston) and his office of legal counselors tackled a fickle case that questioned the separation of church and state after a pastor was suspected of murder. The DAs have had their hands full seeking justice in the Big Apple, and it's been thrilling. The ripped-from-the-headlines cases have been wild this season, which is why many fans are on the edge of their seat for new episodes.

Sadly for Law & Order fans, Season 22 is taking a brief hiatus. When will the show return with new episodes? Keep reading to find out when and how to watch the newest episodes of Law & Order Season 22.

Is Law & Order on tonight (February 9, 2022)?

Nope! All Law & Order series are going on a brief hiatus for the week of February 9th.

When does Law & Order Season 22 return?

Have no fear, Law & Order will be back soon enough. February 16th, in fact! Fans can continue enjoying new episodes of Law & Order on Thursday, February 16th, at 8/7c. In the meantime, you can catch up on your favorite Law & Order episodes on Peacock.

Part of what makes the new Law & Order so entertaining is the mixture of new cast members and familiar faces, such as ADA Samantha Moroun (Odelya Halevi) and DA Jack McCoy. Halevi opened up in an interview about how fun it is working on her dream show with Waterston. "I love working with him. He is so funny. And you know, when I do scenes with him, he says a line, and it just gets you. Anything that comes out of his mouth, you're just stunned. And I forget my lines," Halevi said. "I can't even look at him. He's so brilliant and funny. And when I was nervous in the beginning, I think he saw that, and he just came up to me. He said, 'Remember that we tell serious stories, but we're also here to have fun.' Ever since then, we've just been having so much fun. There are so many laughs. We joke all the time."
