Howie Mandel Just Debuted a New Look — with Hair on His Head! See Him Now
The America's Got Talent Judge was experimenting with costumes in a dressing room, and the results were hilarious.
Howie Mandel is known as many things: an America's Got Talent Judge, a stand-up comedian, and a podcast Host. He's also known for not having any hair on his head — but on July 24, he shook things up by showing off some brand new tresses via a funny Instagram post.
Howie Mandel shows off a new look — with hair on his head!
"Listen, as somebody who enjoys posting and being part of social media, I've been coming to my wit's end, so I'm considering turning off my comment sections as of the 15th of next month," he jokingly told the camera while wearing a bowler hat, glasses, and a brown wig with wisps of hair placed on his forehead. (He totally rocks the bangs look, if we do say so ourselves.)
Mandel's had quite a journey with his hair throughout the years. Fans may be surprised to know that back in the day, he actually sported some luscious, curly locks. This April, Mandel posted a throwback photo of himself from the '70s as a teenager, adorning a long shag 'do that would make Robert Plant jealous.
A decade later, Mandel was still committed to his hair, as evidenced by a nostalgic picture he posted with Denzel Washington while on the set of St. Elsewhere in the '80s.
"#time this show ended 35 years ago yesterday," he captioned the post.
As we said, these days Mandel's known for being a witty and inspirational Judge on America's Got Talent, a role he's proudly had for a whopping 14 years. In an interview with NBC Insider, he explained why he has chosen to stick with the show for so long.
“What is considered talent evolves,” he said. “What will bowl you over, especially as somebody who’s been here that long. I am jaded.”
Mandel continued, “But I’m telling you, I am continuously bowled over. People from all walks of life, from all corners of this planet, have the ability to come and bowl us over. And that’s amazing.”
Mandel also talked about his excitement for Season 18 of AGT and what makes it stand out from previous years. “I think that they’re showing up like they never did before, with much more vim and vigor,” he said, referencing the ultra-skilled Acts. “That goes for the audience too. The excitement in the room is that much more.”
