Here’s everything you need to know about WrestleMania 40!

Where and When Will WrestleMania 40 Take Place?

WrestleMania 40 is taking place in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, home to some of the most memorable moments in WWE history, on Saturday, April 6, and Sunday, April 7 – yes, that’s a two-night event. While WrestleMania has traditionally taken place on one evening, the star power and rivalries across Raw, SmackDown, and NXT have gotten too big for one night to handle, paved the way for the two-night spectacle.

WWE will make their Premium Live Event return to the City of Brotherly Love for the first time since Philadelphia hosted the 2018 Royal Rumble, which memorably saw Shinsuke Nakamura and Asuka punch their ticket to WrestleMania by winning their respective Royal Rumble matches

How Can Fans Watch WrestleMania 40?

For members of the WWE Universe who have watched every single Premium Live Event for the past few years and even tuned in a few weeks ago for the epic WrestleMania press event that saw The Rock slap the taste out of Cody Rhodes’ mouth, you already know how to watch WrestleMania on April 6 and 7!

Like always, tune in to Peacock if you’re watching in the United States – it’s the only watch to catch every second of thrilling WrestleMania action across two unforgettable nights.

WrestleMania 40 officially begins at 7 p.m. Eastern on Saturday, April 6, and Sunday, April 7. Of course, no WWE Premium Live Event is complete without an epic Kickoff Show. WrestleMania is no different: fans wanting the complete WrestleMania experience can tune into Peacock beginning at 5 p.m. ET!

Internationally, WrestleMania will be presented on the WWE Network and by local pay-per-view providers.

(And while we’re sure you need no reminders, we highly recommend watching the event with your closest wrestling-fan friends; even casual fans can’t help but get engrossed in the spectacle that is WrestleMania!)

What Can Fans Expect From WrestleMania 40?

The Rock returned to RAW on New Year's Day 2024

This is it, everybody – this is THE premiere event in sports entertainment, and by all indications, WrestleMania 40 is shaping up to be the biggest two-night event in WWE history. All roads lead to Philadelphia

Everything about this two-night event will be larger-than-life, from the incredible matches, unforgettable moments, unmatched energy from the WWE Universe, and, yes, some of the most iconic ring entrances your favorite Superstars will ever have. Let’s put it this way – there’s nothing like watching the men and women of WWE enter the ring at WrestleMania in style:

As we all know, WWE doesn’t have an off-season like so many sports leagues have – sports entertainment is a tour de force that runs 365 days a year. However, most fans and experts agree that WrestleMania is the WWE version of the Super Bowl or the NBA Finals – it’s where rivalries and feuds finally come to a head after months (or, in some cases, years) of buildup.

On April 6 and 7, the WWE Universe will witness the 2024 Royal Rumble winners – Cody Rhodes and Bayley – attempt to cement their place in history as they challenge Roman Reigns and IYO SKY, respectively. Cody will attempt to “finish the story” and become the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion after failing at last year’s WrestleMania, while Bayley looks to defeat her longtime ally IYO SKY after a somewhat shocking performance in the women’s Royal Rumble match.

Of course, the WrestleMania match lineup is more than just those two matches. When you hear this year’s event is arguably the biggest in history, that’s not hyperbole. WWE has never been hotter than in 2024, and the returns of legends like CM Punk and The Rock in recent months have been the icing on the cake.

WWE Universe, prepare yourself for one of the best nights you’ll ever have. WrestleMania 40 will be that good.

You can tune in to Peacock to watch WrestleMania on April 6 and 7. In the meantime, catch up on all things WWE Universe on Peacock.
