It takes a lot to render America's Got Talent Judge Sofia Vergara speechless, but Emily Bland did just that during her incredibly unique Audition.

How to Watch

Watch the Season 19 premiere of America’s Got Talent Tuesday, May 28 at 8/7c on NBC and next day on Peacock

When Bland took the stage, she told the Judges she would be singing. But when she began her performance, Bland's take on Josh Turner's country hit "Your Man" sounded suspiciously unlike her speaking voice. The baritone vocals puzzled the crowd...until it was revealed that it wasn't actually Bland singing. It was her husband (who eventually revealed himself onstage) singing from the sidelines!

As it turned out, the hotel front desk clerk's Act was what Howie Mandel dubbed "improvisational lip-synching." Bland has the uncanny ability to predict what another person is saying and act as a live ventriloquist puppet, mouthing the words as if they're her own.

"She doesn't know what you're gonna say, yet you're looking at me thinking it's me that's talking when it's actually Howie over on the side of you, not the beautiful woman you're looking at," Mandel explained as Bland practiced her skills on the comedian.

Vergara was shocked. "I don't know what to say, I don't even know how to judge this thing," she said.

The Judges recently announced the top Acts moving on to AGT Live Shows, and, sadly, Bland did not earn a spot. However, her Audition remains one of the most memorable of the season. Who knows? Maybe we'll see her next year.

Watch AGT on NBC Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 8/7c and next day on Peacock.
