By Jackie Manno

On October 8, America's Got Talent Season 14 Winner Kodi Lee sang a heavenly version of "Yellow" by Coldplay and put his own unique spin on the tune.

How to Watch

Watch the Season 19 premiere of America’s Got Talent Tuesday, May 28 at 8/7c on NBC and next day on Peacock

During the cover, Lee fittingly wore a bright yellow bomber jacket while he played some chords on his piano. He then sang with an angelic falsetto, pulling off gentle riffs along the way. Golden lights lit up behind him as he wrapped up with a perfect run and a gorgeous arpeggio.

Lee is no stranger to nailing Coldplay covers. In March 2023, he shared a clip of himself singing a mesmerizing version of "Fix You," a song he said that he personally loves. He belted the bridge in a way that will send chills down your spine.

The lyrics to "Yellow" by Coldplay

Look at the stars
Look how they shine for you

And everything you do

Yeah, they were all yellow

I came along
I wrote a song for you
And all the things you do

And it was called Yellow

So then I took my turn
Oh, what a thing to have done
And it was all yellow

Your skin, oh yeah, your skin and bones
Turn into something beautiful
And you know, you know I love you so

You know I love you so

Kodi Lee covers Chris Martin

I swam across
I jumped across for you
Oh, what a thing to do
'Cause you were all yellow

I drew a line
I drew a line for you
Oh, what a thing to do
And it was all yellow

And your skin, oh yeah, your skin and bones
Turn into something beautiful
And you know, for you, I'd bleed myself dry
For you, I'd bleed myself dry

It's true
Look how they shine for you
Look how they shine for you
Look how they shine for
Look how they shine for you
Look how they shine for you
Look how they shine

Look at the stars
Look how they shine for you
And all the things that you do
