Kodi Lee's Cover of "Angels" by Robbie Williams Is Utterly Breathtaking: Listen

On September 24, America's Got Talent Season 14 winner Kodi Lee posted the most gorgeous cover of himself singing a class '90s ballad: "Angels" by Robbie Williams. 

Lee started the cover by singing the emotional lyrics with a soft, gentle tone. He then reached some impressive belting notes during the chorus. 

"Remember this song? It gives me wings!" he captioned the post.

About "Angels" by Robbie Williams

Released in 1997 off Williams' debut solo album Life thru a Lens, "Angels" is one of Williams' signature songs. It reached the number 53 position on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100, and in 2022, The Guardian named it as the fifth best Robbie Williams song. 

"Angels was so ubiquitous for so long that it is almost impossible for anyone of a certain age to listen to it objectively: throughout the late 90s and 00s, it wasn’t so much a song as an unavoidable fact of daily life. Most pop songwriters would kill to come up with something with such impact and longevity," the outlet wrote.
