Kieran Rhodes is a 20-year-old Berklee College of Music student who completely taught himself how to sing and play the piano. After playing baseball all his life, Rhodes told the AGT Judges he had a "sudden urge" his freshman year of high school to learn how to play music, citing Billy Joel as an inspiration. The rest is history. Rhodes is now actively pursuing music and says AGT is the best way for him to introduce himself to the world.
For his Audition, Rhodes started playing a Billy Joel song, but Simon Cowell stopped him and asked him to play an original song instead. That's when the magic happened. Rhodes then performed his song "Disengaged," earning four yeses from the Judges and endless praise.
