Kelly Clarkson Has Nick Jonas' Number Stored Under the Funniest Name

We're cackling.

By Tayi Sanusi

The Kelly Clarkson Show never fails to deliver a daily dose of humor. Kelly Clarkson's charisma is an absolute force, and when you add celebrity guest Nick Jonas to the mix, the hilarious antics reach new heights. The most important takeaway from their recent interview? Well, apparently, Kelly Clarkson saved Nick Jonas in her phone as "Fake Colin Hanks," and the reason behind it is too funny.

It all started when Clarkson showed Jonas a clip of Colin Hanks, Jonas’ Jumanji co-star, jokingly lamenting that people have called him the “fake Nick Jonas." In the clip, Hanks explains the irony of the situation because, in the movie, Nick Jonas plays the “fake” version of him.

Jonas and Clarkson had a great time riffing off of Hanks' clip. Jonas insisted that Clarkson shouldn’t be confusing him with Hanks because of their longtime friendship.

By the end of the bit, Jonas was calling Clarkson to confirm what name she had him saved in her contacts as. The audience couldn’t help but chuckle when it was revealed that Jonas was saved as “Fake Colin Hanks."

During his appearance, Jonas also got fans fired up about Dancing With Myself, the new competition show he will be appearing on with Shakira and Liza Koshy.

Taking inspiration from viral dance trends, Dancing With Myself Contestants will go head to head each week in a series of high-energy performance challenges, and the winner will walk away with a cash prize.

Dancing With Myself premieres Tuesday, May 31 at 10 p.m. ET on NBC.
