Of all the couples on This Is Us, Jack (Milo Ventimiglia) and Rebecca (Mandy Moore) are arguably the most swoon-worthy. Through flashbacks, we've seen the origin story of their romance—from first meetings to early dating, marriage, having children (and raising them). We've also seen them experience hardship—especially Rebecca, who, as we know, lost Jack unexpectedly when her kids were just teenagers. But Jack's spirit lives on through every member of the Pearson family, and Rebecca's love for him has never wavered. Yes, she eventually moved on and found a new chapter with Miguel (Jon Huertas), but that's something Jack would've wanted: for Rebecca to find happiness, to find love, and live her life fully.
“My version of Jack would not be Jack if it weren’t for Mandy Moore,” Ventimiglia says in an NBC video, which you can watch above. “She's the most wonderful partner I've had on camera."
Moore echoes this sentiment. "I've had such a real partner in Milo from the beginning," she says. "Literally from the audition, when he asked me in a very polite, gentlemanly way, 'Is it OK if I snuggle into your neck for this scene?'"
