This Is Us Fans Have a Theory After These 3 Stars Reunited for a Mystery Project

Mandy Moore, Sterling K. Brown, and Chris Sullivan teased fans with a new photoshoot.

It looks like the This Is Us cast isn't over the show ending either, and are (possibly) finding a new way to revive its spirit.

On March 3, Mandy Moore (Rebecca Pearson), Sterling K. Brown (Randall Pearson), and Chris Sullivan (Toby Damon) got together for a sentimental reunion photoshoot via a mysterious Instagram account called ''That Was Us.'' In the snapshots, we got to see them all hugging side by side and laughing.

''There’s a new big three in town… #ThatWasUs,'' the post read.

"A new big three?" Is an exciting This is Us project in the works, perhaps? Fingers crossed!

Moore, Brown, and Sullivan first dropped hints about the supposed project through the Instagram account back in January. There, they each shared throwback snapshots of themselves as children, and reflected on how their This Is Us roles have helped them grow emotionally.

What could this all mean? In the comments, the most popular fan theory is that the former costars will host a This Is Us themed rewatch podcast, similar to Jenna Fischer and Angela Kinsey's mega-popular The Office Ladies podcast, but only time will tell.

''Playing Rebecca on #ThisIsUs actually prepared me for it a bit — like changing a diaper for the first time and running around set with “triplets”. Being a mom on This Is Us to triplets at various stages of life and now being a mom to Gus and Ozzie, well, I’ve learned that as hard as you try and as good intentioned as you may be, it is impossible to “get it right” all of the time,'' More captioned her vintage post of her petting two cats, talking about motherhood.

Meanwhile, Brown opened up about using his real-life experiences to make his character's scenes more authentic. ''Makes me think back to filming one of Randall’s final scenes with William. Placing my hands on both sides of his head, saying “breathe with me”, breathing together as Randall and Jack did years earlier, and breathing together until William’s last breath,'' he captioned a photo of him and his father, who he lost at the age of 10.

As for Sullivan, he shared vulnerable insights on how therapy has changed his life for the better. ''Getting to know myself has actually been a long process. I’ve learned I need to become intimately familiar with my emotional process and for a lot of my life I was not,'' he captioned a post of him wearing a Batman costume as a toddler.
