Gwen Stefani Wore a Literal Princess Dress on a Date Night With Blake Shelton

Stefani's style always steals the show.

The Honeymoon Is Over for Gwen and Blake | NBC's The Voice

Gwen Stefani looked stunning at the AFI Lifetime Achievement Awards on Thursday, June 9, which she attended with husband and fellow Voice Coach, Blake Shelton

How to Watch

Watch The Voice Mondays and Tuesdays at 8/7c on NBC and next day on Peacock.

For the occasion, Stefani opted for a long, multi-layered ruffled skirt in shades of green and yellow. It was a look fit for a princess. See Stefani for yourself in the photo, below.

Stefani's makeup was on point, and there's a strong chance she did it herself. In a recent interview with Glamour, Stefani explained why she prefers to do her own glam—instead of hiring a Makeup Artist, which is an entertainment industry norm. "I never worked with a Makeup Artist my entire career, really, other than one here or one there," she said. "I had a bad experience when I was doing [an early] No Doubt record. This guy came and did my makeup for the artwork, and I remember thinking I looked ugly."

Stefani launched her own beauty line, GXVE Beauty, in May 2022. “I found magic in the makeup. It’s not even about how people look; it’s how they feel," she told Glamour. "Once that makeup goes on, the confidence that comes with it is what stayed with me.”

You can catch both Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton as Coaches on The Voice Season 22 this fall. The two actually met on the show; Shelton's been a Coach since Season 1, and Stefani was a Coach for Seasons 9, 12, 17, and 19.

In a recent interview with People, Shelton said, "People ask me all the time, 'What's the greatest thing that has happened for you since you've been on The Voice?' That's a no-brainer, right? I met my [wife] here." Cue the awws.
