When is the Chicago P.D. Season 9 finale?

While Chicago P.D. took a small break ahead of the season's end, you won't have to wait long to watch the Chicago P.D. Season 9 finale. All three One Chicago shows intend to finish their seasons with a bang on the same day.

The Chicago P.D. Season 9 finale will air on Wednesday, May 25 at 10 p.m. ET on NBC.

Why is there a Chicago P.D. episode hiatus?

One Chicago viewers might have been shocked to learn they're missing out on an episode of Chicago P.D.Chicago Fire, and Chicago Med this week. Don't fret: It's just a two-week hiatus ahead of the last two episodes of their seasons. 

Chicago P.D. will return on May 11, 2022, at 10 p.m. ET with an episode titled "Memory." The Episode 20 synopsis teases, "Voight and the team delve into a cold case in search of clues to solve a shocking new crime; with its focus on buried memories, the case sparks concern for Burgess and Ruzek about Makayla's mental healing." 

The Chicago P.D. Season 9 finale will air two weeks after.
