About "Nothing Compares 2 U" by Sinead O’Connor

Written by Prince, "Nothing Compares 2 U" was initially featured on the band The Family's debut self-titled album. Years later, Irish singer-songwriter O'Connor fell in love with the angsty anthem and recorded her own rendition of it for her 1990 album I Do Not Want What I Haven't Got. The cover was a smash, topping the charts worldwide.
