Kodi Lee Honors the Late Tina Turner by Singing a Moving Cover of "The Best"

Kodi Lee is simply the best at covers. 

On June 17, the America's Got Talent Season 14 winner shared a video of himself singing a gripping rendition of Tina Turner's hit "The Best" in a tribute to the late singer. During the cover, he riffed his heart out and sang with bite in a way that would have made Turner proud.

About "The Best" by Tina Turner

Originally recorded by Bonnie Tyler in 1988, the song became a hit when Turner covered it a year later. Turner's version reached the Number 15 position on the Billboard charts in 1989 and is considered to be one of her most recognizable tunes. Turner passed away May 24, 2023 at the age of 83.
