Justin Hartley Had the Greatest Reaction to Chris Sullivan Sitting on His Lap

We missed these guys!

For anyone who missed it, July 30th was International Friendship Day. And in honor of the occasion, some of the This Is Us stars posted photos of memories with their on-screen pals.

Chrissy Metz (Kate) reposted a 2018 cover of Glamour featuring herself, Mandy Moore (Rebecca), and Susan Kelechi Watson (Beth).

"Heard it's #NationalGirlfriendsDay... definitely missing my girls 🤍 #ThisIsUs@mandymooremm@susankelechiwatson," Metz captioned the stunning photo

Meanwhile, Chris Sullivan (Toby) posted several pics and videos. He shared a clip of himself, his young son, and Watson hanging out at a Brooklyn merry-go-round:

Then came a hilarious carousel with his male co-stars. “As they say, keep your friends close and your enemies closer… #thisisus #internationalfriendshipday,” Sullivan captioned the post. The first two pics feature Sullivan seated on the lap of none other than Justin Hartley (Kevin). Hartley's facial reactions in the photos are priceless.

The third photo features British actor Chris Geere, who played Kate’s boss (and eventual husband) Phillip. In a flash-forward at the end of Season 5, it’s revealed that Kate eventually marries Phillip after her marriage to Toby falls apart.

“I mean, it is possible for people to love each other and for them to not be a good couple,” Sullivan told Entertainment Weekly. “So I think the two of them had a lot of traumas in their past, and they were kind of unraveling, and they did their best to work on it. But they’re not well-practiced at identifying their emotions and communicating them calmly and clearly, so that’s 'gonna be a problem.”
