Chance the Rapper's 3-Year-Old Daughter Singing the Little Mermaid Will Make Your Day

She's got the vocal chops already!

By Jackie Manno

Sounds like Chance the Rapper's daughter already has pipes like her father!

How to Watch

Watch The Voice Mondays and Tuesdays at 8/7c on NBC and next day on Peacock.

On June 24, Chance uploaded a clip to his official Instagram page of his younger daughter singing a signature tune from Disney's The Little Mermaid. In the adorable video, 3-year-old Marli sat on her dad's lap while she belted out "Part of Your World," and Chance enthusiastically nodded along. How sweet!

"🙌 lp lol" Chance proudly captioned the post, to which This Is Us star Sterling K. Brown responded with some encouraging clapping emojis.

It looks like Chance's outing with his daughters to see the new remake of the classic princess film in theaters made an impact on the girls. On June 11, the "Cocoa Butter Kisses" singer shared another sweet video of him, Marli, and his other daughter Kensli, 7, getting ready to see the live-action film. In the clip, Chance asked Marli to press a button on her conch necklace, and she began to mimic its noise enthusiastically. (Sounds like she loves to sing already!)

"She's literally perfect I can't take it," Chance affectionately wrote on the video.

Kensli then threw up a peace sign towards the camera while standing next to her sister before they both shouted "Little Mermaid!" with glee.

"Finally going to see The Little Mermaid," Chance captioned the post, glad to be spending some quality bonding time with his little ones.

Chance and his two daughters have the most adorable relationship. While Chance recently wrapped up his first Season as a Coach on The Voice, he opened up to Access Daily about how his little ones feel about the show.

"They like it; they don't like me having to go to work, I think. They get a little upset about that, but they like the show. They watched the live [Semi-Final] the other day and my daughter just got, like, a little watch phone, so she kept calling me in between and I'm like, ‘It's live, I'm literally here right now. But I think, they're both into music a lot, so they like the idea of, you know, seeing me on stage with a bunch of singers," he said.

On a recent interview on Late Night With Seth MeyersChance also talked about what music Kensli and Marli like to listen to themselves.

"Yeah, they do like my music. They're more into, like, Peppa Pig, and their contemporaries," Chance told Meyers. "But, like, I have a few songs that they'll listen to. They like a song called 'Let's Go on the Run' a lot."
