In 2019, The Voice Coach hosted an Elvis Presley tribute special dubbed Elvis All-Star Tribute for NBC. He performed his own rendition of the classic hit "Suspicious Minds" and totally did the late icon justice. The performance started out with twangy guitar notes as Shelton strummed some chords energetically.

"We're caught in a trap, I can't walk out, because I love you too much, baby," he sang in his signature Oklahoma drawl. "Why can't you see what you're doing to me, when you don't believe a word I say?" he continued to croon.

Then, when the chorus hit, his slew of backup singers jumped into the mix, harmonizing with Shelton's voice perfectly. "We can't go on together with suspicious minds, and we can't build our dreams n suspicious minds," they sang in unison.

"So if an old friend I know stops by to say hello, would I still see suspicion in your eyes?" Shelton sang with a subtle rasp in his voice. "Here we go again, asking where I've been, you can't see the tears are real, I'm crying," he continued the emotional lyrics.

The singers repeated the second chorus with confidence. "We can't go on together, With suspicious minds, and we can't build our dreams, on suspicious minds," Shelton sang while riffing with grit.

When it was time for the bridge, the song changed its vibe to a slowed down groove.

"Oh, let our love survive, I'll dry the tears from your eyes, let's don't let a good thing die, when honey, you know I've never lied to you," he sang to the audience while they went wild.

Shelton then picked up the pace again and returned to the microphone stand. "We're caught in a trap
I can't walk out, because I love you too much, baby, why can't you see what you're doing to me when you don't believe a word I say," he repeated with the crowd clapped to the beat.

He sang these lyrics a few more times while his background singers hit some impressive high notes, and Shelton encouraged the audience even more. When the performance was over, he gave a bow with a satisfied smile on his face, knowing that he totally nailed it
