Interestingly, she told Billboard in 2019 that she makes a point of keeping her trophies out of most visitors' view.

“[They're] on the top floor of our house so nobody sees them, and I don’t look like a tool that’s like, ‘Hey, here are all my accolades,’" she said. "But I really love them, and I am very proud of them. And if you have them out, you’re not a tool. It’s just, I would feel like a tool.”

Below, let's look back on the work that netted Clarkson some of the biggest awards in her industry.

Kelly Clarkson's new album Chemistry earned her a 2024 Grammy Nomination

Clarkson's tenth studio album, Chemistry, earned Clarkson a 2024 Grammy nomination for Best Pop Vocal Album. The exciting honor marks Clarkson's 14th Grammy nomination throughout her sprawling career. Producing beloved singles such as "Mine" and "Favorite Kind of High," Clarkson's Chemistry is an explosive hit.

Clarkson's first single, "Miss Independent," off her first album, Thankful, was also her first Grammy nomination. But her first Grammy wins — Best Pop Vocal Album and  Best Female Pop Vocal Performance — came after her sophomore album, Breakaway, and its hit single "Since U Been Gone."

She won her third Grammy to date for her 2011 album, Stronger.

Kelly Clarkson's CMA Awards

In 2011, Clarkson picked up a Country Music Association Award for her duet with Jason Aldean, "Don't You Want to Stay."

Aldean, who served as a Team Kelly Battle Advisor on The Voice in Season 21, and Clarkson told Entertainment Tonight in 2021 that the two hadn't met before heading in to the studio to talk about recording.

"I remember I was so excited because I loved the song so much, but when you’re meeting someone and you love their voice and you love their sound… you’re not sure if it’s gonna mesh, you know? It doesn’t always work out," Clarkson said.

"It was immediate, though, as soon as she started singing… and the way she was singing with me, too, how it all blended, you could tell it was something special," Aldean explained.

The song also received a Grammy nomination and earned the duo two Academy of Country Music Awards.

Kelly Clarkson’s American Music Awards

She won two AMAs in 2005: Artist of the Year and Favorite Adult Contemporary Artist. In 2006, she took home the award again for Favorite Adult Contemporary Artist, plus Favorite Pop/Rock Female Artist.
