Chicago P.D. Season 10 has been a rollercoaster, and fans are itching to see what's next. Unfortunately, we'll have to wait a bit for more updates on our favorites from the Intelligence Unit. Chicago P.D. is going on a brief hiatus, but don't worry: It'll be back before you know it. Here's what you need to know: 

Is a new episode of Chicago P.D. on tonight? (November 30, 2022)

No, Chicago P.D. will not air a new episode on November 30, 2022. 

When will new episodes of Chicago P.D. return? 

The next new episode of Chicago P.D—Season 10, Episode 9 (which is also the midseason finale)—airs Wednesday, December 7 at 10/9c on NBC and next day on Peacock.

So, what can viewers expect from the new P.D. episodes? In an interview with NBC Insider, Patrick John Flueger (Ruzek) revealed that the Sean O'Neal trafficking case will continue to unravel—particularly after Season 10, Episode 8's cliffhanger, when Burgess (Marina Squerciati) helped Upton (Tracy Spiridakos) with a lead on the ongoing investigation. It led them to O'Neal's Wisconsin cabin, where they dug up human remains.

"I think it reinforced that both Hailey and the team as a whole—their instincts are often right," Flueger says of that surprising ending. "It’ll come to a climactic and dramatic conclusion in the mid-season finale. I think it definitely tees up a heartbreaker of a mid-season finale."
