Tracy Spiridakos Ran Into Patrick John Flueger and His Girlfriend in Italy: See Pic

When in Rome, right?

By Jackie Manno

On June 14, Chicago P.D. star Tracy Spiridakos (Hailey Upton) took to her official Instagram page to share some epic vacation pics of herself and Patrick John Flueger (Adam Ruzek) in Italy after the two ran into each other. Flueger is on holiday with his girlfriend, Reem Amara, and in the snapshots, they stand in front of a gorgeous fountain near some lovely statues. See the pictures here.

How to Watch

Watch Chicago P.D. Wednesdays at 10/9c on NBC and next day on Peacock.

"You guys! I found a Paddy and a Reem in Rome 😍🤗🤗," Spiridakos captioned the post.

"Jealous. HAPPY FOR YOU ALL. And jealous," commented Marina Squerciati (Kim Burgess), Flueger's on-screen beau.

It's clear that Squerciati wishes she could've been there, especially since she and Flueger have a close friendship behind the scenes on Chicago P.D. In an interview with NBC InsiderFlueger discussed how he and Squerciati collaborate well together during filming.

"Marina’s one of my best friends, and it’s like we balance each other out," he said. "With our performances, I think we do have good chemistry onscreen. If I’m going to toot my own horn, I will toot the horn that Marina Squerciati and myself have good chemistry onscreen. But with Burgess and Ruzek, I think it’s just they balance each other out. They just collectively calm each other down and validate each other’s strengths and make up for each other’s weaknesses."

Ruzek's future with Burgess is unknown as he was shot in the Season 10 finale of Chicago P.D. The last thing we saw in the episode was him being rushed into emergency surgery.

In an interview with NBC Insider, Flueger opened up about the devastating case that led to his character's life-threatening injury.

"He's with this young woman that I think he cares for and can see needs help, and she has a young son that I think he cares for," he said. "He has been told nothing but lies his entire life other than what he hears from his mom, who only has so much power to tell him the truth. That duality is not fun [for Ruzek], especially when he wants to go home, when he’s got a daughter, and he’s got [Kim Burgess] that he’s rekindled his romance with."

He continued, "It's like partying in Vegas when you’re in your 20s. It sounds awesome, [but] you just kind of grow out of these certain things, and you realize what’s important. I think he’s exhausted, and I think it’s starting to wear on him that what he’s undercover for, it’s not for one individual. It’s for this possible mass attack. So I think it is weighing on him as things go forward."
