Bupkis, the new comedy series based on the life of comedian Pete Davidson, officially has a premiere date on Peacock.

The show, which the Saturday Night Live alum co-wrote, executive produces, and stars in, will see all eight episodes drop on the streaming platform on Thursday, May 4, for all the world to see. The series is described as a heightened yet still fictionalized version of Davidson’s real life based on his experience growing up in Staten Island. It promises to combine grounded storytelling with the absurd elements of comedy that Davidson is known for.

Joining him are big-screen alums such as Edie Falco as his character’s mother as well as Joe Pesci, who plays Davidson’s grandfather on the show. Guest stars showing up in the eight-episode series' run include familiar faces like Charlie Day, Brad Garrett, Simon Rex, Ray Romano, Kenan Thompson, and Chase Sui Wonders. Many of them were teased in a collection of first-look images that dropped along with the premiere date announcement.

As mentioned, Davidson co-wrote the half-hour live-action comedy with his longtime collaborator Dave Sirus, who is also an executive producer. Together, they worked with showrunner Judah Miller and director Jason Orley and fellow executive producers Lorne Michaels Andrew Singer, and Erin Davis to create a crop of episodes that perfectly showcase Davidson’s unfiltered and unique worldview.

Now, fans can get a taste of what they're in for when Bupkis premieres later this year in their first look inside the wild new series plucked directly from the mind of Pete Davidson.

Tune into Bupkis on Peacock on May 4.
