On Tuesday, February 6, Kunal Nayyar will guest star in a Season 2 episode of Night Court. Nayyar and Rauch go way back, as they were both central characters on the hit sitcom The Big Bang Theory, which ran from 2007-2019. Nayyar played Raj Koothrappali, an astrophysicist who grapples with social anxiety. Meanwhile, Rauch played Bernadette Rostenkowski, a microbiologist known for her distinctive speaking voice.

Nayyar and Rauch teased their Night Court reunion in an Instagram video that gave a nod to The Big Bang Theory. (Watch it further down this article.)

Melissa Rauch and Kunal Nayyar are back in action!

"Oh Bernadette, please play my clarinet," Nayyar smolders to the camera before it pans to Rauch, who cheekily hits her gavel twice.

The line is in reference to The Big Bang Theory Season 4, Episode 20, titled "The Herb Garden Germination." In the episode, Raj's sister, Priya, finds a poem written by Raj dedicated to his love for Bernadette. Priya happens to particularly cringe over the poem's memorable line, "Oh Bernadette, please play my clarinet."

What to know about Abby Stone in Night Court Season 2

Melissa Rauch on the 'Kelly Clarkson Show'

In an interview with NBC Insider, Melissa Rauch hinted at what's to come for Abby's personal life in Season 2.

"The first season we had a little bit more country mouse vibes from Abby as she was experiencing New York for the first time. I think she's got a little bit more savviness to her this year...She's trying now to figure out what she wants wants herself, so it's the fun and games of seeing Abby try that on for the first time," she said.

She continued, "She's going to be trying to see what the city has to offer by going on some first dates. There's an episode where there's a double date with her and Olivia. She's just putting herself out there to see what that looks like. Even her trying to create her first online dating profile, there's a lot of fun to be had in seeing this side of Abby."

Season 2 of Night Court airs Tuesdays at 8/7c on NBC.
