Ice T has been an open book in the past about his health and family, but there is one special aspect in his life that fans have yet to catch a glimpse of. Luckily, on April 27, the Law & Order: Special Victims Unit star shook things up by sharing some behind-the-scenes footage of his dressing room while on set.

How to Watch

Watch Law & Order: Special Victims Unit Thursdays on NBC and next day on Peacock.

First, he showed us an elaborate painting of his beloved bulldog, Spartacus, who died in 2020 following complications from knee surgery. Ice T revealed that the work of art was a gift from his SVU co-stars Mariska Hargitay (Olivia Benson) and Kelli Giddish (who's returning as Rollins later this season).

Next, he showed us the other decorations on his walls. "Of course I have a painting of Scarface in my dressing room. Who else would have a painting of Scarface? Me. On Law & Order: SVU," he said cheekily.

The lavish room was equipped with stylish red couches, and Ice T explained that he often plays his music when off-duty. "Its not like MTV Cribs," he remarked.

Then, it was time for Ice T's signature words of wisdom for fans. "If it feels like you're going in circles, it's probably 'cause you're getting corners," he said with a satisfied nod.

"No one gives a dressing room tour quite like @icet 🔥🤣 #SVU," the official Law & Order account captioned the post. Very accurate!

While Ice T's co-stars may have given him the gift of a painting, the rapper gives the gift of knowledge. He is an expert at providing useful advice, especially to close friends. In a recent interview with People, he opened up about a life lesson that he passed on to the empathetic Mariska Hargitay.

"I taught Mariska one thing," Ice T told the outlet. "I learned that you have to learn how to say no sometimes."

"Mariska's a very giving person and it can make you sick worrying about other people and not taking care of yourself,” he continued. “I believe that a lot of times people need to use that word 'no.' We keep each other sane."

The feeling of friendship is mutual on Harigtay's part, as she shared a heartwarming birthday shoutout to Ice T on her official Instagram page this February. The nostalgic snapshot showed the pair embracing in a hug, giving a throwback to their relationship that has spanned multiple decades.

"Happy Birthday @icet #LoveIsLove #RealDeal #ThatsWhatsUp #OG" Hargitay sweetly captioned the post.

Be sure to watch Law & Order: SVU on NBC Thursdays at 9/8c and next day on Peacock.
