The Voice Season 24 Is Coming Fall 2023 — Here's What to Know
It will be the first season without Blake Shelton as a Coach!

Another music-packed season of The Voice is on the horizon.
NBC announced in May that The Voice Season 24 will premiere fall 2023 in its normal time slots: Mondays at 8/7c and Tuesdays at 9/8c. (Of course, the show will be available for streaming next day on Peacock.)
It's going to be an exciting season, albeit a different one. Season 24 marks the first time Blake Shelton won't be a Coach in the show's 12-year history. Alas, our cowboy has decided to hang up his Voice coaching hat to spend time with family on his Oklahoma ranch. He more than deserves the break, but he will be sorely missed.
“I’ve been wrestling with this for a while, and I’ve decided that it’s time for me to step away from The Voice after Season 23,” Shelton said in a statement announcing his departure “This show has changed my life in every way for the better, and it will always feel like home to me. It’s been a hell of a ride over these 12 years of chair turns, and I want to thank everyone at The Voice from NBC, every producer, the writers, musicians, crew and catering people; you are the best."
He continued, "It takes a lot of work, passion, and adult beverages (Ha!) to pull off a live show twice a week. I’ve made lifelong bonds with [Host] Carson [Daly] and every single one my fellow Coaches over the years, including my wife Gwen Stefani! I have to give a huge shoutout to the singers, the ‘Voices,’ who come on this stage season after season and amaze us with their talent, and a special thanks to those who chose me to be their Coach. Lastly, it’s about y’all, the fans, who watch and support these Artists, us Coaches, and everyone at The Voice who are chasing their dreams. It would not happen without you!"
So, what's in store for Season 24? Keep checking back here for all the details as they come in. Read on!
When does The Voice Season 24 premiere?
Fall 2023: Mondays at 8/7c on NBC and Tuesdays at 9/8c on NBC (plus next day on Peacock). An exact premiere date has not been revealed yet.
Who are The Voice Season 24 Coaches?
Drumroll, please! The Voice Season 24 Coaches are Reba McEntire, Niall Horan, Gwen Stefani, and John Legend.
McEntire, the Season 23 Mega Mentor, noted herself in an interview that Shelton's cowboy boots will be tough to fill.
"To fill Blake's chair? Wow," she told ET. "That's gonna be tough. He did a great job, and kudos to him."
Shelton's fellow Coach Kelly Clarkson agrees with this sentiment. "He is the ultimate Coach on this show," she told NBC Insider. "Everybody knows that. He's won the most, and he, honest to God, helps the Artists afterwards. And it's an incredible thing that he's done for so many Artists. It's a loss for The Voice."
On why Shelton decided to leave The Voice, he told Access, “I think being a stepdad [to wife Gwen Stefani's kids] has changed my perspective in that I’m not the first person that I think about anymore. Even to the small little things when you go, ‘I think I’ll do this,’ the very next thought is always,‘Well, wait a minute. How’s that going work?' Or, 'What will they think?' Or, 'How will that affect a schedule?'"
“I think the only way for me to really do that right is to step away from being committed to something like The Voice that demands a lot of your time," he continued. "There’s no way around it. If you’re going to do it and do it right, you have to be 150 percent in. And I just feel like those days are behind me for now. I got a more important job."
