Where Is bodie from The Voice Now?

The first-runner up has been busy since The Voice Season 22 ended.

Season 22 of The Voice was a thrilling competition and, while country crooner Bryce Leatherwoodtook home the win, many fans were rooting for the endlessly talented bodie, who received second place.

As a fellow member of Team Blake, bodie instantly charmed the Coaches with his electric stage presence and effortless vocal range. His Blind Audition for The Voice, a soulful cover of "You Found Me" by The Fray, delivered a unique take on the track. From there, bodie continued to stun the Coaches and crowd with his high-energy performances, serving stunning vocals throughout the Battles, Knockouts, and all the way to the Live Shows

Never afraid to take a Top 40 hit and make it his own, it was no surprise when he landed in the Top 5 for The Voice's Season 22 finale. bodie poured his soul into his Live Finale performances, ending the night by rocking out with his Coach for Shelton's song "God's Country." Making it far on The Voice is no easy feat, but with each of bodie's performances, he continued to up the ante. 

Bidding farewell to The Voice on a high note, many fans have been curious about what bodie will bring to the music scene. Let's check out what bodie's been up to since Season 22!

Where Is bodie from The Voice now? 

Since his season on The Voice, bodie hit the ground running, gracing fans with several infectious singles featuring his mesmerizing vocals and energizing beats.

After leaving The Voice stage, bodie took to Instagram for a thoughtful post about his life-changing experience on the show.  

"I am so relieved. so honored. So proud. This has been the most incredible experience," he wrote. "So much love for the cast, the crew, the coaches, and YOU GUYS."

"I am blown away by the love and support y’all have shown me through this process, he added "If you loved what I did on the show, just wait until you see/hear what I have planned."

bodie's Family

bodie has been married to his wife, Royale, for seven years, and they have three children (two daughters and a son).

In an interview with Parade while appearing on the show, bodie talked more about how his children.

"My eldest ... was with me on my Blind Audition day, and he was just so excited. He wasn’t allowed to tell anyone who I chose and, of course, he was telling everyone in our church. I’m like, 'You gotta stop telling everybody.' But he was telling everyone he’s famous now," bodie said. "The other two, my wife will send me videos of them watching the episode. They love seeing me sing and they love seeing little pictures or videos of B-roll of them on the TV, too."

"It’s been so fun to show them what it looks like to chase the passion and dream," he added

On Valentine's Day in 2023, he posted a sweet collage to Instagram calling his family the "loves of his life."

Has bodie released any new music?

Following his incredible Voice run, bodie dropped two hypnotizing singles: "lovin look easy" and "think about u."

He issued a music video for the first on YouTube in February 2023, showing him giving a live performance in a skatepark. On May 3, he released a seriously cool stripped-down version of the second on Instagram.

In May 2023, bodie released the single "IDC NOW," a grunge-pop tune about his struggles with anxiety. In June 2023, bodie was one of the headlining performers at Universal City Walk Orlando's "Salute to Summer" concert event, where he performed "IDC NOW" for the first time live.  

In July 2023, bodie dropped one of his most addictive listens yet, the melancholy bop "strange."

In August 2023, bodie performed more of his original music at a venue in Los Angeles, sharing his excitement on Instagram

Outside of making new music and performing sets around the country, bodie has been active on YouTube, sharing blogs about his family life and posting live music videos to his other original songs, including his 2021 track "Happy Now." And if it wasn't obvious through his Voice success, bodie is also the king of the cover song, leading him to share several exciting cover performances on Instagram, such as his haunting rendition of Coldplay's "Fix You." 

In September 2023, bodie shared a cover of The Proclaimers' "I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles)" to Instagram, revealing the song will always be meaningful thanks to it being his Top 13 performance on The Voice. "I’m not a big cover guy but this one was special," bodie captioned thebreathtaking cover. "btw… I have a big project coming v soon!!!!" As he continues to amaze, we can't wait to see what bodie does next.
