This Valentine's Day just got sweeter with a new romantic single from The Voice's Season 7 winner Craig Wayne Boyd titled "One Last Line," and it's a certified bop.

Boyd first charmed The Voice crowds during Season 7 after being swiftly recruited by fellow country crooner and Coach Blake Shelton. Boyd's energy was undeniable through every stage of the nail-biting competition until he eventually seized the crown for Team Blake, securing Shelton's fourth win. Since his smashing Voice tenure, Boyd has been staying busy with his music career, and on February 14, he released the most romantic new song.

In an interview with People, Boyd reveals that his wife and their heartwarming love story were the main inspiration for the tune. Inspired by "those anxious moments right before pledging your love to that significant other," Boyd says that "One Line Away" gives insight into their relationship. The happy couple met just a few days following Boyd's life-changing Voice win

"I was smitten by [my wife] Taylor the very first time I saw her from afar and even more so after an evening of conversation. I truly feel like I knew she was going to be 'the one' from day one!" the Voice alum says of meeting his future other half. And if Boyd's gut feeling wasn't loud enough, his eldest son, Jaxon, would become the reassuring voice he needed to hear to take the next step with Taylor.

"After the initial meeting between Taylor and Jax, he asked me, 'Daddy, can we keep her?' so there was no convincing needed to have him help me. We were on our way back to Nashville from a show in Branson, Missouri when Jax and I asked Taylor to join our family. When you know, you know," Boyd reveals. Since marrying, the couple has had four more kids, making their crew a happy family of seven.

And "One Line Away" isn't all that fans can expect to hear from Boyd. The Voice alum claims he has some new music in the works, which he hopes to release later this year. "I am diving head first into 2023, ready to get on the road and play good ole country music for ya and bring y'all some fresh, new tunes to boot," he said.

We can't wait to see what else Boyd has up his sleeve!

The Voice Season 23 premieres Monday, March 6 at 8/7c on NBC and the next day on Peacock.
