Mariska Hargitay embraced Christmas 2023 in the best way!

How to Watch

Watch the Season 26 premiere of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit Thursday, October 3 at 9/8c on NBC.

On December 25, the Law & Order: Special Victims Unit star shared two posts to Instagram, giving fans a glimpse into how she spent her holiday. One picture showed her adorable dog, Kaia, and her new cat, Karma, playing together. Karma had her paws wrapped around the dog's leg, while the two animals both wore matching Santa-themed PJs.

"Merry Christmas from Kaia and Karma🐾😻" Hargitay captioned the post.

Then, she showed us a fun picture of herself posing with two members of the iconic Rockettes dance team in Radio City Music Hall in New York City. In the snapshot, Hargitay struck an elegant pose with her leg in the air, matching the two dancers perfectly. (Well, Jayne Mansfield was her mother, after all.)

"Just kicking it with the @TheRockettes Happy Holidays 🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌🎅🏽 #radiocity" she captioned the post.

Hargitay sure knows how to make the most out of Christmas. Last year, she amazingly took her family to Disney World for the holiday. In the pictures, the actress posed with her husband, Peter Hermann, and their their three children, August, Amaya, and Andrew, in front of Cinderella's castle.

"Thank you @waltdisneyworld for the most magical time✨✨✨ #CandlelightProcessional," Hargitay captioned the post.

What to know about Mariska Hargitay's cat, Karma

Hargitay expanded her family in late November by introducing fans to her adorable new cat. The best part? The feline was named after Taylor Swift's 2022 hit, "Karma," off her album Midnights.

Hargitay revealed Karma to the world by showing high-def pictures of the kitty relaxing on a couch and licking her paw.

"Karma is a Cat @taylorswift Meet Karma. My Cat🐱 #MeAndKarmaVibeLikeThat #AndIKeepMySideOfMyPawClean #KarmaIsACat," she captioned the post, referencing the signature lyrics to Swift's song.

Hargitay and Swift are good friends, as evidenced when Hargitay posted the best shoutout to Swift on her 34th birthday; she even used Karma the kitty to make it more special. In the picture, Karma the cat chilled out in front of some T-Swift paraphernalia, including two popcorn buckets that Hargitay got when she attended the premiere of Swift's Eras Tour movie with her 12-year-old daughter, Amaya.

"Happy Birthday @taylorswift ♥️karma," Hargitay captioned the post.

Hargitay and Amaya also supported Swift when they attended her concert in August and took pictures with Selena Gomez and Swift's mother, Andrea.

"Still in the afterglow of the most magic night. Deepest gratitude to @taylorswift for your poetry and wisdom. You inspire us and connect us to our #delicate tenderness, joy, hope and strength - and most of all, our wish to live and love courageously. Thank you, Taylor, for all you do and all you are," Hargitay wrote in the caption.
