Chicago P.D. alum Jesse Lee Soffer gave his former co-star Tracy Spiridakos a very sweet birthday tribute on Instagram.

How to Watch

Watch Chicago P.D. Wednesdays at 10/9c on NBC and next day on Peacock.

The first adorable snapshot in the carousel, posted on February 20, candidly shows Spiridakos in her full police costume with a cozy-looking black beanie on her head. She has a big grin on her face, looking serene while she relaxes on a couch. Then, she and Soffer sit together in a car, both looking directly at the camera while Spiridakos gives a wide smile. The last picture shows the badass Spiridakos in action on set.

“A huge happy birthday to this lady! Isn’t she the best?! 😎” Soffer affectionately captioned the post.

Spiridakos also had an amazing birthday vacation with co-star Marina Squerciati, who posted a photo of the pair having the time of their lives in sunny Cabo.

Happy birthday, Tracy!

Spiridakos’ birthday isn’t the only milestone the Chicago P.D. cast has been celebrating lately. The show’s landmark 200th episode is airing on February 22, 2023, and the gripping plot will have you on the edge of your seat. Spiridakos gave some details to Entertainment Weekly about the intense process of filming the gritty episode.

"I was in a pool for 12 hours," she told the outlet. "So in the well scene, it's a big pool, and then they built a shaft in the middle, and it goes up really high. So there's no way to get me to the top to shoot me dry. So I'm in fishing waders and then literally on the shoulders of two men being carried through this pool so I can be dry, climb up the ladder, take off the waders, and then climb down dry. So I only got one take of that."

In other exciting news, Soffer is set to return to Chicago P.D. behind the camera to direct Season 10, Episode 16 of the show. Spiridakos welcomed this with open arms, as she took to Instagram to share some photos of Soffer working on set. The pictures feature herself and Soffer smiling together in a car, along with some snapshots of Soffer working with production equipment on set, looking thoroughly invested and determined.

“Director Jesse made his debut, and he killed it you guys! 👏🏼👏🏼 We are all so proud,” Spiridakos warmly captioned the post.
