Terry Fator's Elvis Presley Impression Is Insanely Accurate: Listen
The America's Got Talent Season 2 winner did The King justice.
Terry Fator channeled The King with this special Christmas cover.
In 2022, the ventriloquist and America's Got Talent, Season 2 winner used his Elvis Presley-inspired puppet (Maynard Tompkins) to sing an impressive version of the classic tune "Blue Christmas."
"All I want for Christmas from you is for you to sing an Elvis song," Fator told the puppet.
"Well, I was gonna get you an Apple Watch, but I'll get you this instead," the puppet responded before launching into the song.
During the performance, Fator used a husky tone that was virtually indistinguishable from Presley's. And as always, he managed to perfectly pull the whole thing off without moving his mouth.
"That was great! Do I still get the Apple Watch?" Fator asked.
"Nope, buddy, you just blew your Christmas present!" the puppet quipped.

About "Blue Christmas" by Elvis Presley
Originally recorded by Doye O'Dell in 1948, the 1957 Elvis Presley version is what launched "Blue Christmas" into worldwide recognition. The lyrics to the country-blues tune tell the story of someone feeling lonely during the holiday season, and in 2011, Rolling Stone listed it as the seventh best Christmas song of all time.
In 2022, Garden & Gun praised the song while discussing the bestselling 1957 EP Elvis' Christmas Album.
"Blue Christmas" has since been covered by Bruce Springsteen, The Beach Boys, Michael Buble, Lady A, and more.
