America's Got Talent legend Kodi Lee gave his brother, Derek, a sweet shoutout for his birthday via Instagram on August 17.

How to Watch

Watch America’s Got Talent Tuesdays at 8/7c on NBC and next day on Peacock

"HECK YEAH!!😎🎉 HAPPY BIRTHDAY To My Not So Little Bro @derekilee 😎 you’re the coolest - even though you mess with me a little too much 😂 so lucky to have you! Can’t wait for another year of fun!!" Lee wrote in his post alongside several pictures of himself and Derek.

In the carousel Lee shared, we see a photo of him and Derek smiling from a city skyline's observation tower. Fans also get a rare, heartfelt glimpse at a childhood snapshot of the Lee brothers. The carousel continues with another sightseeing pic, a shot of the siblings singing together, a cool subway snap, and more music moments. Check out the Instagram tribute for yourself further down this post.

Kodi Lee made a splash — and ultimately won — America's Got Talent in Season 14, earning him a headlining spot in the show's Las Vegas revue at the Luxor Hotel (where he still plays). Lee went on to compete in both America's Got Talent: The Champions and America's Got Talent: All-Starsas well, where he dazzled fans yet again with his incredible voice and piano-playing.

He's doing the same thing on Instagram, too. It seems like every day the 27-year-old is wowing fans with a new cover. Whether it's Sinead O’Connor’s “Nothing Compares 2 U” or Bill Withers' "Lean on Me," Lee has the amazing ability to take classic songs and make them his own while still honoring the original.

Earlier this year, Lee was honored with a GWEN Luminary Award. Given by GWEN Global — a nonprofit organization that “utilizes the power of technology and multimedia to enable people to share their stories and transform lives” — Lee's award is dedicated to “individuals who are making a difference in the world through acts of kindness, leadership, mentorship, community building, and human rights activism.”
